Director, IC Design

This person will have full responsibilities in design and development of analog IC products from concept to production ready. This person will also have the responsibility to motivate, grow, and manage about twenty technical staffs in the Shanghai office. He/she must be able to do hands-on analog IC circuit design in the area of DC-DC converters, LED drivers, and class-D audio amplifiers, and yet able to oversee a dozen design projects. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to foundry interfaces, customer visits and supports, market understandings, and product definitions. He/she must have very strong analog IC circuits design knowledge and experiences. He/she must have good understanding of DC-DC converters and/or class-D audio amplifiers systems and trade-offs. Other qualifications include having strong understanding of IC process technologies and CAD tools. It is important that he/she has excellent people skill and be able to maximize resources and to build group dynamics. Must be able to work under high market and time pressure. MSEE with at least ten years of direct analog IC circuit design and engineering management experiences required. PhD preferred. Must be willing to relocate and work in the Shanghai area. Manager, Design Engineer

This person must be able to work independently and also be able to direct work with both local and oversea co-workers. He/She is responsible to execute IC design projects, in the area of power management, LED driver, and class-D audio amplifier ICs, from product definition to production. Duties include technology selection, analog IC circuit and logic design, simulations, layout planning and supervision, silicon characterizations, test supports, yield enhancement, and application supports. Have good knowledge in semiconductor device physics, process technologies, and CAD tools. Must be able to do hands-on analog IC circuit design. Must have direct working experiences in LED-driver, linear regulators, and switching regulators IC design. A strong understanding of analog IC circuit design is a must. M.S.E.E. required, PhD preferred. Minimum of ten years of relevant working experience required. For the position in Shanghai, he/she must be willing to relocate to Shanghai.
Principle Design Engineer

This person will be working as a project leader, responsible for executing IC design projects independently, from product definition to production ready. Duties include top level full chip architecture, circuit and logic design and simulation, layout planning and supervision, product characterization, testing, and enhancement. As a principle engineer, he/she must always look for better and innovative solutions and circuit ideas. He/she must have excellent knowledge in analog IC circuit design, and direct experiences in designing LDO, Buck, Boost, and class-D audio amplifier. He/she must also be capable of working with marketing and application groups for new product definitions to meet customers’ needs. Moreover, he/she must have good knowledge in semiconductor device physics, process technologies, and CAD tools. BSEE required, MSEE preferred, with at least five years of direct working experience.
Staff Design Engineer

This person must be able to do analog IC circuit design such as bandgap reference, amplifier, comparator, and high-voltage drivers. Must have good understanding of Buck and Boost system requirements. Must have good knowledge in using both CMOS and bipolar devices optimally. Must have good skills in designing analog circuit and logic, performing circuit analyses and circuit debugging, using CAD tools. He/she must be able to do silicon characterization, testing, debugging, and improvement. He/she must also have good knowledge in semiconductor device physics and process technologies. BSEE required, MSEE preferred, with at least three years of direct working experience.
